Trish Merewether is a Science and Math Educator who found the love of travel and teaching through her work on archaeological sites. During and after her course work to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Anthropology, Trish was lucky enough to work for several outstanding archaeologists in New Mexico, Belize, and Peru. She spent several summers working in the hot New Mexico desert at Chaco Canyon walking hundreds of miles each summer conducting site survey work for the National Park Service. In Belize and Peru, Trish had the opportunity to work at several pre-historic sites and see some of the most fabulous archaeological sites in the world. As a tourist she had the chance to scuba and swim in the amazing crystal blue waters off of the Yucatan Peninsula and climb the steps of Machu Picchu and conquer the Andes Mountains. During her travels she found herself and discovered a new passion and decided to go back to school to obtain her Master's in Secondary Education. Trish decided that she wanted to inspire and motivate people to follow their dreams and to reach to achieve whatever their mind's could create. Her pursuit of higher education has continued and she is currently working towards her Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.
